Omori Water Treatment Plant

The Omori Water Treatment Plant was a construct & manage project. Project management was crucial with this project to ensure efficient delivery.

The new plant will be able to produce two million litres of drinking water per day, with capacity for future expansion, while providing the community a more resilient water supply that meets New Zealand drinking water standards.

It's a major upgrade from the treatment process in place at the existing plant, with the new plant to have a state-of-the-art membrane filtration system, UV treatment and monitoring equipment. There will also be a large permanent backup generator that can run the plant if there is no power.
